Welcome To First Presbyterian Church!

We are so glad you are seeking to know something more about our church. We hope the information and pictures you find here will be helpful in giving a sense of who we are, what we believe, and the loving God we serve. Please know, however, that the facts and photos you find here will be terribly inadequate in fully conveying the First Presbyterian experience. This web site won't allow you to hear the laughter of our children or the singing of our choir. You won't be able to feel the warmth of our hand shakes and hugs. You can't smell the juice and cookies coming from the preschool classrooms, or the unmistakable smell of "church coffee" from the Fellowship Hall. You can't experience any of that on our web site!

You'll have to COME!!!! And we would love it if you did.

We invite you to come and experience the body of Christ at First Presbyterian Church. We are not perfect, but God does promise His presence when we gather in His name. So come join us together as we experience the Spirit of the living God.

Directions to First Presbyterian Church - Morganton
From I-40, exit 103, proceed east on Highway 64 (Burkemont) until you reach the intersection of West Union Street. Turn left on West Union and proceed 0.4 miles. The church will be directly ahead.
