Parish Nursing
Parish nursing is an idea born out of the understanding of the healing ministry of Christ through His church and of the need to return to health care that focuses on the whole person. A parish nurse, through theroles of health educator, personal health counselor, health advocate, and community liaison, supports the belief that there is responsibility for stewardship of the body - a sacred space that is a gift from God!
