Christian
worship joyfully ascribes all praise and honor, glory and power
to the triune God. In worship the people of God acknowledge God
present in the world and in their lives. As they respond to God's
claim and redemptive action in Jesus Christ, believers are transformed
and renewed. In worship the faithful offer themselves to God and
are equipped for God's service in the world. (Book of Order: W -
1.001) At the center of Presbyterian worship is the Proclamation
of the Word and the Administration of the Sacraments.
A
Nursery with qualified professionals is provided during worship
for children under five years of age.
We encourage parents to bring children ages three and up to the
service for the Childrens Moment. After the Children's Moment,
children age pre-K through first grade are led to the Children's
Worship Center. In the Worship Center, children have a special place
to learn about God and to worship God in developmentally appropriate
ways.
After the Childrens Moment, children not attending the Children's
Worship Center may pick up an activity bag located at the front
and return to their seats.
